WHO WE ARE
36caracteres is the company of reference in theatrical surtitling in Spain. For 20 years we have been the bridge between the great international companies who have come to our country and the Spanish audience. Two elements define our work: literary quality in the translations and perfect synchrony with the actors in the live performance. We have participated in multiple international projects in various countries, whether accompanying Spanish companies on their international tours or working with companies from around the world.

We have a large team of literary translators to Spanish and other languages.
We prepare the files which we operate live and we also prepare files for companies who wish to undertake this task.
Other services: subtitling of plays for Youtube channels, Vimeo, social networks, streaming projections, working videos to send to festivals, programmers, production companies… We can undertake both the translation and the subtitle insertion.

We developed in-house our own surtitling software accordingly to the service needs over the years. As a result we are able to provide a robust and professional solution.
SURTITLING GLASSES
​
36caracteres is reinforcing its commitment to research and develop new technologies with its smart subtitling glasses.

The spectator can individually visualize the subtitles in augmented reality (AR) through this new technology.

There are multiple applications: from scenic accessibility for persons with hearing impairment to the promotion of cultural tourism (multilingual subtitling), including screenings for programmers.

VIDEO PROJECTION

High brightness, high resolution video projection systems. Different outputs to adjust projection to different sized spaces. Perfect for smaller spaces. We have screens with dark projection surfaces for discreet incorporation into the stage design.
LEDS
​
High definition, modular LED screens to configure the right size for each venue. They can be incorporated discreetly into the stage design and thanks to their sharpness and brightness it offers spectators an optimum visibility
